genbukan battodo

Members of the Genbukan dojo marched in the Samurai Day Parade 2010.   That year marked the 150th anniversary of the First Japanese Diplomatic Mission to the United States.  This commemorative parade took place in Central Park.  Glimpses Matt, Mayumi, Vincent, Marky, and Henry can be seen.  Rose is speaking at the end of the clip.

This is a visual description of Battodo.  Seen in this video are examples of kata and tameshigiri (test cutting) that are practiced at our dojo.
